This painting relates to scopophobia, an internal fear I used to have, and it manifests in excessive fear of being watched or looked at. Through this painting, I wanted to illustrate a way out of this phobia, so I’ve empowered the Enchantress with multiple eyes. Thus, she will intimidate anyone who would stare at her and put them under a spell.
